Mikko Juuti

Mikko Juuti has a broad background in turning research, technologies and new ideas into commercial opportunities. He holds a PhD in photonics (physics) from the University of Joensuu, from 2007, and has worked across business development, sales, and technology commercialisation roles in industry and research institution. He is particularly motivated by working with researchers and students, helping them shape promising ideas into commercially viable innovations and new business.

As one of the founders of Hub Panostamo, Mikko sees incubators and early-stage startup communities as an important bridge between research, entrepreneurship and the market. They provide environment for testing ideas, challenging assumptions, building the right networks and helping promising teams take their first steps toward a scalable business.

Juhamatti Huusko

Juhamatti Huusko has nearly 20 years of experience in the IT and health technology sectors, working in specialist, leadership, and entrepreneurial roles. He holds a PhD in Health and Human Services Informatics from University of Eastern Finland and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from University of Jyväskylä.

Throughout his career, Juhamatti has worked with technology companies, research organizations, and innovation ecosystems, supporting business development, commercialization, and growth. His core expertise includes strategy, customer development, sales, and facilitating workshops and validation processes. Juhamatti is passionate about turning ideas into sustainable businesses through strategic thinking, customer insight, and practical experimentation.
